So I purchased a FT03-B case over 6 months ago and it looked great to begin with. Over time the back panel has discolored from black to copper and now you can see how it looks in the below pics.

What's weird is both the back panel and side panel receive the same amount of sunlight each day yet only the back panel has discolored. This leads me to believe that there is some manufacturing fault, perhaps some kind of UV protectant was not applied or something.

This is my first time buying a high-end case. I have emailed Silverstone and we'll see how they handle this.

Just thought I'd post this to see if anyone else has ever seen this before?

Oh dear, that is quite awful and probably a manufacturing fault like you say! Good luck on getting it sorted (I imagine you will, but it's still a pain.)

Different case entirely but my FT02 has been fine.

Why is it that looks like dust with fingerprints in it? (last pic) but i can't quite see why that would have happened.

Somehow the oils from my fingers seem to have slowed down the uv bleaching.

And no, I haven't heard back from silverstone.

Still haven't heard back....sent a second email today and will call them tomorrow.

So far thumbs down for Silverstone.

Be interested to see how this pans out and if anyone else has had a similar issue. I'm 90% sure this is the case for me now but my desk is right next to a window so one side of the case will have the sun on it at times. I wouldn't to spend over £100 on a case for that to happen within 6 months.

Keep us posted!
