Silverstone micro atx

Yeh I think all cases, especially ones aimed at the high end and small form factor should come with the 3" bay as a adapter from the 5" one.

It makes more sense, and allows the case to adapt much more easily to change.

And who uses a floppy these days anyhow? :p

Very few do - but quite a lot of memory card readers are in the same format - so I have seen anyway - as well as a few other things more relevant today than floppy drives

Admittedly you still only need one but occasionally two can be useful ( fan controller maybe?)

But with the flexibility of the 5" adapter bays, I can fit another one in to double my 3" bay capacity.

And point taken about the memory card readers, although fan controllers are usually 5" the TR3a is 3" as is a vantec.

Good news Caged, I was going to email SilverStone the other day but I don't need to now, 10th of April; not bad. :D

Pity there is no mention of price, I really hope it's below £100, It should compete in price with the Lian Li PC7+, and although they're both of different classes I think that these cases are amazing.

The price will make or break this for me, underneath the front panel it's a normal steel layout. The dual 120mm fans are a plus though.

Yeh, it will be the usualy Ss overpriced for what it is affair, but still nice.

Can not see it being toooooo great though in the value for money stakes.

£80 inc. vat would be pretty nice.
rekon a full size gfx card will fit in there (with 2/3 hd's? also like to see about HD placement..
prolly gonna be a PC-7+ for me otherwise, if i cant afford a v1000+/one of the newere Lian-Li's.
the choices :)

£60.98 inc.

I'll let you know when it gets here. I've gone for the black, the silver is the same price though.

Didn't take many photos - internal layout etc can all be seen on the website so there's no surprises there.

One thing I will say, and this is very clear in the photos in the review on this (but never mentioned in the review for some reason) is that the drive bay blanks are a very bad fit for the holes they are meant to fill. Expect to spend some time adjusting them, and getting used to them not being 100% because they only attatch with one screw each side. This is what you can expect out of the box, it's not the flash-fit that I'm used to, my last and only other aluminium case was a PC-60:

There's no getting away from the fact that this is a very expensive front on a very cheap chassis, and £60 is really the most that could be asked for this case, especially as it comes with the fans. It's not worth the money, but I don't regret spending it, purely cause I needed a Micro ATX tower this week that didn't look like crap.

Other options are the Coolermaster Centurion 540 (good luck finding that one in stock), but the quality of that is nothing to shout at judging by what the Centurion 5 was like.

Think carefully about this one, I'd say if you're just going to build a nice compact box and be done with it, go for it because it looks damn nice. If you want to tweak (why are you buying Micro ATX?) then look elsewhere.

It's no Antec, but you could do a lot worse.
