Hi there,
I'm looking into a SFF, and decided on the Silverstone Milo ML07. I'll be powering it with the Silverstone 500W SFX-LG which is 3cm bigger than normal sfx PSUs.
My question is...are the vents for the PSU intake in the correct place for the SFX-L? I ask as i was reading a build at ************ stating a revision one?
'I also heard great things about the Silverstone SX500-LG, which is a longer version of Silverstone’s popular SFX power supply form factor with a larger and quieter semi-fanless setup. My research online suggested that it would physically fit with no problem in the ML07, but that the power supply vent cutouts on the original revisions of the case still reflect the smaller SFX form factors. I ended up calling Silverstone USA’s number (and spoke to an actual human being after only two rings!) to confirm that. As it would turn out, the case that Amazon sent me was version 1.0, which indeed has a smaller vent cutout that does not entirely expose the SX500-LG’s larger fan area. It still appears to function just fine, however, so I hope that it’s mostly just an aesthetic consideration.'
Do the ones in stock have a larger vent now due to the SFX-L option? Does it matter for the PSU intake that much?
Thanks
