Morning all,

I used to tend to all the BSB races many moons ago with my father when I was a little snot nosed kid.

I want to take my gf to one at the end of the season, only I'm not sure which. Silverstone is slightly closer to home (Waltham St Lawrence). But the distance isn't an issue for me.

I vaguely remember there being hosted things in a huge bunker type building but simply can't remember which track that was? Mini bikes on a little track etc.

Anyway, I want to make a day of it, not just watch the BSB, so which has more attractions?

From a track side spectator point of view Brands is much better than Silverstone.

For off track entertainment Silverstone will be better simply due to more space to actually put things on.

I would have said brands but as its the GP layout it means you watch half of the track via a big screen. I love the indy track as you can see most of it.

Maybe take her to silverstone, if she enjoys it then brands as well? :D

Brands is a more exciting track to watch for someone new due to how close to the action you are, and the undulating twisty nature.

Silverstone, it can feel a little bit like watching a large scalextric set from a few metres away due to the massive run off areas, and it feels less dramatic.
