Just wanted to hear if SilverStone got a good reputation with PSUs?

I found a bargain online on a Silverstone SST-ST1200 Strider Series - 1200 Watt, which is more watts than I need, but it's fully modular and now I want it

They are good, but according to kitguru, they get a bit noisy under load.

Hm well, the website I found it on, has a different picture. I think it's an older model?

Accordingly, it states it's a 80+, and not gold.

I've got the 850w version, and have been very happy with it so far (picked it up for a good price). They are made by Enhance, who apparently are a popular OEM manufacturer (also manufacture for Cooler Master, Zalman and Antec). I believe some places are selling off the Strider Gold cheaply as they have been discontinued and replaced by the Strider Gold Evolution series, though I don't think there is a huge difference in them.
