Has anyone had any experience with Silverstone RMA,if so were they any good in replys and sorting out problems?

I have tonight broke a blade on one of the 180mm fans in my brand new Silverstone FT02B Case ,ive sent a email to them requesting a new fan.

Never heard of anybody to send a RMA to Silverstone so im hoping ill get a reply and a new fan sent to me?

hhmmm, how did you break the fan blade? i got the same case but i didnt have to touch the 180mm fans when i put my system togather.

how do you break a fan blade off

i've taken them apart dropped them sprayed them re-assembled them,

Never broken one though

I broke the fan a sata psu cable fell into the fan, as the fan i broke was covering the HDD (Silverstone FT02 owners will know what i mean( and the fan has not got a protector unlike the other 2 180mm fans in the case.

Been in contact with Silverstone and they have advised me to buy a silverstone 180mm fan from a well know retailer in Bolton as it will be cheaper.

So ive now ordered another 180mm fan the broken fan was making a right racket as you can imagine as the fan is 180mm (massive) the slightest unbalance and the fan is useless.

Only problem i have now is the broken fan ive taken out of machine was connected to High/Low fan controller built into the case where the cables were spilt into 3 bits i had to rip these out not sure if they were soldered.

So it looks like i will just have to connect fan the standard way into a 3/4 pin on motherboard

Bit surprised by some of the comments, im sure lots of us have broke fans before its not hard to do?

Must say well impressed with the case superb build quality amongst other several things
