Planning on buying this week, always loved the raven series, apart from the last one.

Anyone had or got one? Planning to get the tundra TD02 to put on the bottom as well.

It's a pair of 180mm Air Penetrators on the bottom. Putting a 240mm AIO down there will totally kill the entire point of the case and give you awful airflow.

I loved the original Raven and the Fortress 2, and the Raven 5 looks great, but the single 120mm fan up top is to support the natural convection and upward airflow. There is no consideration for modern AIO coolers (i.e. the dual-rad ones), which is unfortunate given extra-thick 120mm AIOs don't cut the mustard really.

And that pains me because the FT02 by any other metric is air cooling perfection.

I was waiting for a FT05 but got a bit impatient so I have a RV05, there's a few photos in the case gallery from last month.

Personally I wouldn't use an AIO cooler with it unless you're putting a 120mm in the top, or planning to use 3x 120mm in the bottom. The 180mm fans do a good job at pushing air up, had an intel i7 920 and hex core xeon running very cool in this case cooled by a NH-U12P.

Also if you have a large power supply you might need to remove the 3.5" drive bays depending on your cables, I've left one in for an extra SSD and removed the other to help improve airflow.
