Hi All

Im going to build myself a nice MAtx system with the above case, prolly an ASRock 775Twins-HDTV mobo, 2.66 Dual Core Pentium D in there, just for general day to day use, nothing heavy.

Do you get a cooler and PSU with the case or do i need to buy them
seperatly?

If they come seperate, could anyone recommend me any? Quieter the better really.

Ahh, i dont think it comes with a cooler so thats OK. I saw they have made one themselves, HT06 but cant find it anywhere for sale.

Id like to put a XP120 in there, as its what i use now... unsure if it would fit though. The cooler is 63mm high, without fan and the tallest Cooler you can use in the case is 78mm. Im sure most fans are deeper than 15mm :(

Would not fit, and you can fit any PSU in it really, but you have to shift the CD drive to the bottom slot, but I would seriously recommend getting a non modular PSU for this case.

Heatsink wise your best off with the Swiftech MCX6400-V usually.

(Oh my I am tired :()

Oh and noni, it wasnt the case resonating on the v1000+ if you check the thread :)

I think it would, Randomtom has a Hiper580w in his I think with the HS I suggested.

The HS is a brilliant SFF solution in my opinion, and in its own right.

Noticed you want 775, sorry really tired and skimmed your post :(

I will have a quick look and see what other people seem to be using in the Sugo for 775 and post back :) Give me a minute or two.

EDIT:

That seems popular with Sugo Evo users, and does not seem a bad heatsink although I have not used one personally so you might wanna check up on some reviews of it.

I updated the post above.

I can't visualise the sugo enough to work out if the fatality HSF would fit in a 77t m-atx board coupled with the sugo and a CD drive.

I hate headaches; sorry dude can't help on if it will fit and can't see anyone using one in a Sugo.

Ah well, i might just buy it and see. Once ive got it all bit i can then see the clearance of what i have left and can get the Cooler once ive done that. I still have PCs to use while im building so its not Dead urgent :)

Thanks for the help and advice, go take two Anadins and lay down in a dark room :)

Edit:

This is the best pic of the motherboard i can find: http://www.scottholmes.co.uk/images/asrock.jpg

And it looks like it will fit that OK, just need to check if it will fit the Sugo. Could do with some great images of Components installed in one, see what clearance i have.

Well, i have seen a picture around with a Zalman in there, dont know what model of Zalman it is but ive seen it! So there is hope so far, i have just ordered the Case (SG-01), Mobo (ASRock 775Twins-HDTV), CPU (Pentium D 805 2.66) and 250gb Sata II HDD that will hopefully be here on thursday.

Once ive got it built or fitted up i can then see what cooler will fit.

Id like the FS-C77 Zalman to go in there but i dont think that will fit, also would like the Silverstone NT06 but i cant seem to find a release date, does anyone else know when its being sold? And for how much....

The NT03 would work fine, but the reviews ive been reading say its quite noisy :( Only other option i can see is stock cooler, if u get one with the Chip or Thermaltake Golden ORB II

Well, i was hoping it would come yesterday but where i ordered it from was out of stock, so they held the order back. Cancelled that one and ordered it from elsewhere and it will be here today :)

Anyway, i now need to get a PSU for it i have one i can use temp but i can only use that for a few days to make sure its all up and working OK. So, im stuck between two.

Both are Modular, cos i think this will just be better in the long run, i dont need all the wires that come on a standard PSU so makes sense to cut that down as much as possible. I cant decide between:

and

Both are similar prices, im leaning towards the tagan as i have two already, and they are great PSUs :)

Anyone got any thoughts?

Just need the PSU and im good to go!

Well i installed all the bits, and the cooler is maybe 3mm too large for it! Going to have to get the dremel out and cut a hole in the side of the case for the copper fins :/

It pushes a little bit, i guess it might be ok.... dont wanna risk it really :(

Just wait for PSU now, and then its complete! I did however have the hardest time getting the back plate for the motherboard in, OMFG that took me best part of 10 minutes!

Plus i cut my thumb doing it, huge gash and layer of skin taken off, stings like hell blood everywhere :(

I had exaclty the same problem with my original sugo last july time, strange isn't it! I cut my thumb as well, I don't know why, it just wouldn't stay pushed back. Anyways hope you enjoy your new build - what psu are you going for?

There is a knack to doing it, use the rear end of a screwdriver next time, takes seconds and does not hurt your thumb :D

Godsend if your fitting 20 of them in one go :p

I tried Yewen, i honestly did... This sod would not go it, with either end of a screwdriver, my thumbs or even a toffee hammer!!

Used a bigger hammer in the, and thankfully didnt bend the case :)

Tis all in and working now, tested it with a old Q-Tec PSU just to make sure its all working, not leaving it on with that powering it, have to wait til monday when modular PSU arrives :)
