Silverstone SG01 or SG02?

Hi Guys

Im after one of these case's and i I was wondering what are the differences between the two, they both look nearly the same. Does anyone have any pics of either of these cases set up.

the sg01e and sg02 are identical except the front panel design. The sg01 (pre evolution ie the older ones) had 60mm fans not 80mm fans on top - if you're getting new its an evolution with 80mm fans.

sg01e is black/silver brushed metal plus shiny perspex bit. sg02 is black/white painted iirc

SG01 Evolution all the way. Much better looking case.

I got a SG02, it looks great and is like £20 cheaper! £20 is like a decent cooler for the cpu!

Basically the only difference between SG01 and Sg02 is the look, the internals are the same!

Buy the cheap one! The SG02 looks good I think, go black you'll never go back!

trust me you want the case without the window (cable mess) - spend the savings on an nt06 cooler (assuming the psu has the 120mm fan needed)

I have just got a Silver SG01 Evolution for a build at weekend. Seems a good case with 3 x 80mm fans. Looking forward to building it.

Going to be using a Q6600, NT06 Lite, Thermalright HR-05 IFX, DS2R, 4gb Geil, Raptor 74gb, X1950, X-Fi and Corsair 620HX.

Should be fun.

and hot (still feel quads run it too hot in my opinion)

My Q6600 currently maxes out at 48 degrees with a TT120/Scythe 800rpm fan. I reckon there wont be much difference once I lap it and it's installed with the nt06.

If thats in the lian li, then you can expect an increase in temps as for one theres no fan pulling air into the sugo case. Maybe I'm just one for a cooler system and having seen systems with q6600 in a sugo hitting 60C under load its currently putting me off quad until 45nm chips are readily available.

There is 3 X 80mm fans intake on this case as standard. Considering slight internal mods to accept a 120mm once it's up and running.

I know I have an sg01e running an nt06 (opteron 175 cpu) etc and its actually only 2 fans as standard, the 3rd is empty

SG01 look a lot better but as someone said they are the same case to choose the one that you like the look of more
