I'll be the proud owner of a Sugo within the next week or so, but have seen the FX121 SFF Cross Flow Fan as a "recommended accessory" and wondered if it's at all necessary.

It's relatively cheap, coming in at around £15, and apparently "facilitates the dissipation of heated air developed around the CPU voltage regulators and other motherboard components".

Which sounds nice but does it actually mean anything?

Unfortunately it'll be a long time as the buyer for my laptop has just pulled out.

OK, but why won't I need it? I appreciate people taking the time to pop in but more detail wouldn't go amiss!

If you don't know the answer, link-me-do!

Well, it's only £15 so I might just get it and test it out. Least that way we'll all know for sure.

Assuming someone buys my laptop and frees up the necessary funds!
