Hi, I am about to purchase the case that is in the thread title. I have a 9800GT to put into it which apparently needs a 400 - 450W PSU if I intend on playing games on it (Which I do).

Now, I am unsure of which PSU to buy. If it makes any difference there's an E8400 3.0 Ghz going into the case as well. I'm aware that not all PSU's will fit this case so would some kind gentleman to please suggest me a PSU that will cover my power needs and also fit into the case without me having to drill any holes and such.

Cheers. :)

Ahhh sorry! I should have checked more throughly before wasting your time. Anyway, Thank you very much for the reply and the helpful information. :)

You can roughly work out how much power you need just by the components used for example an 9800GT uses 105w (assuming its not the new Eco one) an E8400 is 65w, and from tests Ive done with this board and the on board gfx it uses around 16w but we will say it uses 30w just to cover ourselves, that leaves the HDD and Optical plus any fans so we will say 30w for that too. So you have 105w+65w+30w+30w which comes to 230w which should be absolutely fine on the stock power supply as its an FSP it will be reliable :).

If your still concerned you could maybe buy the Eco version of the 9800GT which uses around 75w, and checkout my sig which is all running of a 150w PSU (except the screen ofc).

Thanks for that. :) I didn't really have a full understanding of the power consumption of each component. I was confused as people on here were telling me that the graphics card would work fine on a 300W PSU, but then when I checked Nvidia's website, it recommended at least a 450W PSU. But I'm going to go by what you say and just purchase the case and that shiny mobo. :)

Thanks for your help. :)
