The Silverstone Temjin TJ07 isn't cheap at > £220, but it looks like just the ticket for what I'd like. A couple of questions please to help me make my mind up if anyones got one or seen one:

(1) In the bottom of the there are a couple of 3.5" drive bay enclosures. I'm planning to watercool this box using probably the Alphacool 3x120mm radiatior. Assuming I can mount the PSU in the nearside hole (you can mount two at the back side by side), and take one of the drive enclosures out, will I be able to mount the rad. against the back wall at the bottom blowing air directly out the case at the bottom?

(2) The case looks nice and heavy (up to 8mm sheet ally apparently) which is fantastic as it should cut down on vibrations and that "tinny" feel of other cases. However there's no side window panel available. Could anyone tell me how thick the side panel is, and have I any chance of Dremmel'ing a side window into it?

(3) Whats the general build quality of the Silverstone cases like? I'm using a Lian-Li PC70 cases atm which is OK on the quality front - but given I paid for it a similar amount as the Silverstone case (albeit a few years ago now) I was hoping for something a little better (more solidly built).

The top of the range SilverStone cases have an extremely high build quality to them.

I dont know about the side panels on the tj07, but the ones on my case are only 1.5mm thick.
 
I had a TJ05 and it was probably the worse case I have had. The design and layout seemed just what I wanted but the build quality left a lot to be desired. I got rid of it and now have a Lian-li V2000+. I would be very wary of spending that kind of money on a Silverstone case.
 
TJ07 is built rather well indeed, will be a little better than your PC70.

The v1000/2000 are built better than the TJ07 though in my opinion, they have more of the little touches you notice after several builds than the TJ07 does.

Silverstone overpriced premium, but if your willing to pay it its a very very competent case.

You do have a chance of dremeling the side panel. :)

I am not even going to try pimping another case, nothing at all bad with the TJ07, just the price. He seems willing to pay so he will get a excellent case at the end of it. :)

I have a BLACK Silverstone Sugo Evolution coming my way later today hopefully. :)
 
Im being nosey. :(

Not much at all, just depends if you have a Black Widow (most desireable case ever I think) or if you have the one that cools slightly better with the top blowhole.

Nothing between them really, just me being curious. :p

well the seller says it come with 4 80mm fans as standard, now I know there are 2 fron intakes, but are there 2 exhausts? or 1 rear exhaust and additional top one?

if so I have the one that cools slightly better with the top 80mm fan :)

or so I believe :)

201B-BXT is the one, it has the side window.
 
anyway I had to buy the unit whole, its got a 3.0ghz p4 northwood inside and some crappy asus deluxe mobo, 512 megs of ram etc etc bleh bleh.

paid a silly amount for it, should arrive next week some time, in hopefully undamaged condition, I will post pics before and after I strip all the components out :)

just gotta figure what to do with it when I have it lol!!

top mounted 120.2 rad with black aquacomputer grill anyone? :p
 
It usually is 2x 80mm front intakes behind the hard drives, 1 rear 80mm exhaust and a top blowhole.

You can also replace the motherboard tray for a praetorian newer model one, which would give you 2x 80mm rear exhausts. :)

Yeh ive got the same thing happening, shlould be getting a Silverstone Sugo in a hour or two, have a rough idea what I want to do but I hate small form factor, so im going to have some fun with it. :D

Oh and sorry to be a nuiscence, but can you make a new thread on your impending delivery, so we do not further clutter up this one, cheers. :)
