Well I took the plunge and move away from by current office 'box' to the overtly long TJ05 (in black with lcd screen).

Ok it's not one of the top 4 that most people advercate, but got a good deal locally on MM, and miles better than by current 'box'

To give me a head start on my airflow tweeking are the side fans worth the effort or will in & out 120mm Amber's be sufficent?

Other fans in rig included a [email protected] coolled by AC 7Pro (to be upgraded to xp-120 +Amber when bracket arrives), 850XT + AC, PSU with 120 fan (ezcool :o )

PSU is next upgrade when funds allow. Or I could go adapter crazy and use my enermax FMA. All comments welcome, and I'll be posting pictures in gallery when complete and tidy

Hey up mate :D

Glad you like the beast hehe. Well I only ever had 3 fans total in that case.

1 UV on the XP 120
1 Amber at the front
1 UV fan on the back

And it kept my Opty 146 at a nice temp, can't remember exactly what it was but do remember when trying to get to 3GHz it didn't go above 50c when priming.

If you have SLI then maybe the 2 extra fans would be beneficial, otherwise I personally dont think you need them.

Just my 2ps worth, enjoy the beast and will get that manual scanned tomorrow and sent to you.

Thanks AFK_Matrix

Thought I might find you here :D
Haven't had time to start my build - (little one is teething  ) but I really like this case (thanks) hows your water rig going btw?

Don't own one anymore but recently swapped from a TJ05 to a V1000+, so still familiar.

If you're GPU is going to produce a lot of heat then those side 80's are very welcome and do a decent job. The single 80 by the HD cage is completely redundant, tested it to death for case/HD temps and not even a degree difference so that is just more noise for no gain.

I ended up disabling the built in fan controller/temp monitor as it was a little unreliable and was prone to screeching alarms at me in the middle of the night at random lol.
Infact when I got the v1000 I spent about 20 minutes beating the TJ05 to death with a 10lb lump hammer before it was sent off for recycling but it was personal, that case hated me and I hated it :P
