Hey guys, im getting paid in a couple of weeks and I am seriously considering getting one of these cases, now is there anything better for the money?

I know I will likely get suggestions of the pc-7 and akasa eclipse, but I really like the idea of having a monster case like this :D.

Is there any reasons why I should not get the TJ06?

Thanks

Hi,

You pays your money - you takes your choice. All i can say is I have owned a TJ05 for several years, and have just upgraded to a TJ09 earlier this year. The TJ09 is an excellent case although expensive i suppose as all silverstone cases are, but you get what you pay for.

If you like the TJ06, and more importantly think it will suit whatever you are putting into it - then go for it, i'm sure you won't regret it.Hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply, I am still pondering my options at the moment, I just really like the idea of having such a big case, but I don't want to pay over 100 squid.

Hi again,

But quality always costs - ok I suppose you are paying for the badge as well - bit like buying a Ferarri, but quality all the same. If you can afford it, flaunt it as they say. Good luck whatever you decide in the end. By the way a big case as you call it is usually easier to work with, and sometimes depending on design better for cooling. All depends what you wan't to achieve.

Sorry for resurrecting an old thread, but I'm wondering if anyone still used a TJ06 and whether it's still good for cooling?

I had one for a couple of years. The wind tunnel setup was funky enough to enable me to an old skt939 3700 passive for a year or more. The only trouble with this is your limited to one 80mm intake for everything else and no dedicated exhaust, if you keep the tunnel in place. I only used a modded x800pro in my system, so I've no idea how it would cope with the monster GFX cards of today.

Overall I didn't care for the case though and it turned me to Small Form Factor. It was too damn big, not particularly pretty and mounting hard drives was a pain, unless you decided to put them in on their side.
