Has anybody changed the fan that is located in the middle of this case. I have a Noctua sitting here ready to go but can not see how to get at the fan that is already installed. Any advice would be welcome. Alternatively any advice on making the fan already installed quieter would be welcome. Thank you.

I fitted a Noctua in mine, bloody nightmare to do, but worth it for the end result. :)

You have to unscrew the box, using a long posi scrwewdriver and then you can open it up, it's not too difficult as long as you use a magnetic screwdriver to ensure the screws do not keep dropping.

Do people find the stock fans loud ?
I bought a 4pin to 3pin cable for the gpu one and hooked it up to a fan controller but found the cooling to the mobo was inadequate on anything less then 12v when overclocked.

I found the fan in the shroud to be louder than I was happy with, so I bought three Noctua's and swapped them all.

I'm confused? i can't even hear mine with the 2 silverstone fans. mind you i only just put my hardware into the case today so i'm probably not used to it. Beautiful case, best i've ever had or seen and i've built 100's of systems.

One thing that confused me slightly was no case speaker? My Tagan power supply cables were soooo close to being short but i feel Silverstones brilliant planning had that covered. Everything fitted perfectly, made the installation a breeze.

BTW Nice rig Flanno

I changed mine with Scythe S-Flex using silicon mounts instead of screws, killed noise and a lot of vibration in the process
