Not sure if this is the best of the gaming forums for this, but as it's likely to use a PC for the task, thought I'd ask here.
I'm looking for a SIM setup to closely cover GT and F1 style games. I've seen the F GTPro rig which looks good, but it's everything else that I'm unsure about. It doesn't seem like there's anywhere that lets you configure a complete rig. It's either the rig, or companies like fanatec for hardware, but no rig.
Throw in the complexity that I wouldn't overly mind it being modular between car and flight, and I seem to be opening a can of worms.
Doesn't need to be full or even part motion, just a good experience that could be supported by VR or a really good monitor setup.
It seems that most fanatec wheels are drive units are cross compatible with pc, Xbox and PS anyway, for the occasional time that I might have cravings for GranTourismo.
Advice and recommendations greatly appreciated.
Budget is really not a problem either.
