Morning all,
I'm after a little bit of advice regarding an upgrade to my current set up. I got to try some Fanatec load cell pedals the other day which has given me the itch to upgrade. This was on a DD wheel which while awesome is out of my price range.
I currently have a Logitech G29 as I want the PS4 compatibility which I see gives me a few options;
1. Buy only a set of CSL Elite LC pedals. This means I can use them with my G29 wheel on PC but would have to use the standard G29 pedals on PS4. Cost ~£200.
2. Upgrade my whole set up getting a CSL Elite wheel and LC pedals - Gives me PC and PS4 compatibility which would nice to not have to change any bits over. Cost ~£700.(or ~£550-£600 if I sell my G29)
3. Just keep using my G29 as is.
I'm leaning towards option 2 of a full upgrade or 3 of keeping my g29 as is rather than the half an upgrade of option 1. Though the thought of dropping £700 on 'just' a wheel, while doable, does give me pause for thought hence this thread.
So given the option which would you go for? Is a Fanatec wheel really that much better than a Logitech wheel to turn a ~£200 pedal upgrade to a ~£700 wheel upgrade?

I know the Fanatec pedals are better than the Logitech. So it is useful to know that you rate the Thrustmaster wheel as better than Logitech. As Fanatec wheels seem to be reviewed on par or better than Thrustmaster wheels. Though most do seem to compare it against the T500 rather than TS-PC.
