OK, Hands up, I'm not a huge game-player but I've just finished Alien Isolation that I picked up in the Xmas Steam sale.

Really enjoyed it, so what's out there that is in a similar vein?

Cheers:)

I think SOMA is meant to be good, a creepy horror survival.

Plus, Adr1ft (not a typo) is coming this year which also looks good.

Just had a little look at Soma. (Not heard of it) That looks OK, certainly worth a go if I can catch it cheap.

Thanks.

Any more??

Id recommend Outlast, and the Whistleblower DLC if you have not played them. Similar gameplay creeping around hiding in cupboards and stuff, very scary and pretty disturbing at times.

In the dark, with headphones on. I didn't last long :)

just looked 43 mins lol

Blimey! :D

I thought I'd check mine;.....turns out I lasted 8 hours which seems way too long / can't be right. I don't consider myself 'that' sensitive when playing horror games (I like S.T.A.L.K.E.R. after all), but I couldn't take this one any further. I'd miss my guns too much. :)

I like to tell myself I'm waiting to get a oculus rift, before I finish all these great games I have like outlast, Alien Isolation. lol

Maybe my 13 year son might finish them one day :)

There are many comments are getting Amnesia the dark decent to work with Oculus! I lasted about 10 minutes into Amnesia anyway so if someone did manage to get it working i would cave after about 2 minutes!
Its (amnesia) is open gl though and oculus supports direct x. Either the game would need to be re-written or something else used such as oculus overlay. It wouldnt be great in none native support because oculus does things like changes scaling - height would be all strange (someone mention they could just call it 'midget heart attack' :) )

Stasis looks like it may be worth a punt. Different format, and apparently quite atmospheric with the same puzzle solving elements.

Hehe I remember the first time in the Agroprom underground when I ran into that blood sucker. The STALKER games since do not scare me at all but they're still amazing for their atmosphere. If you haven't already, play CoP with MISERY. It's very challenging but one of my best STALKER experiences yet. 2.2 is coming out soonish...

Played Misery? :D Yes, I certainly have. Loved it. The last version I played was 2.1.1 - which I did on my channel, though now I'm using Premiere Pro my next playthrough should look better. I'm currently playing Oblivion Lost 3.1, which is pretty good.

Did you play 'The Black Road' beginning in Misery?

I was just reading this thread and though I might look into Amnesia, then realised it was in my steam library and didn't know I had it, must have been a humble bundle, going to give it a try.
