Similar to Metallica?

I've been listening to Metallica for some time now and like most I was a bit disappointed with the eagerly awaited St Anger album so I've been looking for bands to fill the gap.

I've listened to some Megadeth songs which seem to have a similar sound to Metallica but I'm not too impressed with the vocals.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

Which Megadeth songs/albums did you listen to?

I'm not sure of the titles but I played most of the iTunes samples and I thought they sounded similar .
