Hey guy wondering if anyone can help me?

I've been looking for simon the sorcerer I & II compatable for windoes 7, i can't seem to find it anywhere, i'd appreciate it if someone could help me, as i loved these games when i was younger, would love to replay them for the memories :)

Oh my god, thank you so much :D

Never played number 3 so don't think ill bother with that seeing as its 3d, not sure i'd enjoy it.

84mb for the first one, jeez thats some file size haha

I might do, just been looking at the website, think ill buy theme hospital aswell while im at it!

... and Syndicate. And Wing Commander III. And Stonekeep. And Legend of Grimrock. And System Shock 2. And Clive Barker's Undying. And Syndicate Wars. And FTL: Faster Than Light. And the Gabriel Knight series. And Caesar III. And Sanitarium. And Space Quest series. And Tex Murphy series. And and and...

Christ I love GOG.

God ill be picking up settlers II aswell, man my weekend has been made already thanks for the website d_brennen :)

i wish i had the original simon the sorcerers, would love to just to be able to say i have it.

As a fan of simon 1 and 2 it was strange to go 3d but my god its fun and very funny in places too. I personally think tho others will disagree that the devs made fun of 3d which is why its so low quality tho not low enough to be work for a comedy game imo. They even more or less say that with the dwarfs thing when you go in somewhere and he says the budget wasnt there to make all the dwarfs so they used a pic or was it cut outs i dunno.

But yeah get the talkie versions of 1 and 2 and play 3d one but the ones after that are utter tripe imo.

Note - Settlers has a free online version (Settlers Online, currently in totally open beta).

It's pretty good. There are some slightly farmville-y bits (obvious time limiting bits that you can overcome with purchased 'gems' instead of waiting; daily log-in rewards etc) but I played it for a few months with no financial investment at all and frankly it's rather pleasing, especially for free.

Settlers 2 had a remake iirc. Worth hunting for that version.

Hmm i always thought it was settlers 2 i liked out of them games but it was the first if this is the right intro vid for it as i loved this intro vid when i played my sisters copy of settlers.

Ah the memories of the old games i used to play and love.

After a little look around gog, im going to be spending a lot of money, its all fairly cheap aswell.

Gonna buy, rollercoaster tycoon, abes odessey, duke nukem, redneck rampage.

God there is so much awesome games i remember there.

Christ this thread has just made me want to buy an Amiga 1200 lol. Even though all of these are available on the PC it's on the Amiga I played Simon I and II and Settlers.

Amiga version did have the nicer purple interface iirc compared to the other types on pc etc. Tho saying that i just checked the vids on utube and they have the purple interface, hmm im sure the amiga one had something the others didnt tho didnt it?

I'm not sure. You had three different versions on the Amiga in the end. 64 colour for A500/600, 256 colour for A1200 and the Amiga Cd version had voice acting.

Not sure what the PC had, as I gamed solely on the Amiga 500 and my mates A1200 at the time. :)
