Simple 3070 newbie query

Hi

I haven't bought a standalone graphics card for about 20 years, usually buying a well-specced PC and running it until it creaks. I've got an i7 6700 with bags of HDD/SSD space and RAM, but the GPU (Palit Geforce GTX 970 Jetstream 4GB) would benefit from an upgrade.

I'd like a card that is practically silent when not working hard. I won't be overclocking, modding, adding RGBs, etc., and I'd like a card that's part of the Watch Dogs Legion promotion if it's still available by the time the card ships.

I've looked at the Palit 3070s on Overclockers and can see Gaming Pro, Gaming Pro OC, GameRock and GameRock Pro. Based on my requirements, I think Gaming Pro will be right. Can anyone confirm this, or suggest other good quality cards I should be looking at?

Will my "FSP Hydro G 650W Semi-Fanless Modular PSU, 80+ Gold" be adequate for this card?

Many thanks

They aren't released yet so won't know anything about their performance until they do, and then expect it to take 1-2 months for any deliverys to arrive.

If you plan to keep it for a long time then go Zotac, that will have 5 year warranty right off the bat. If not then EVGA because you can add another 2-8 years for cheap.

You might want to look into the Ryzen 5000 series coming in ~1 month, perhaps also Big Navi if 3070 is unavailable, if you have DDR4 RAM already you could reuse that along with your SSD/HDD's.

If, you do go nvidia just beware that unlike Zotac, EVGA doesn't have a UK RMA depo anymore so you will have to ship to Germany (expensive unless sent uninsured).
