What is the standard resolution that everyone benches in. Mine is set to 1280x800 but im sure thats not right. what is it?

oh i have a 19" widescreen

if you're running the free version then you can't change the res manually so i assume it's defaulting to that if your screen doesn't support 1280x1024?

my 19in widescreen does though....

my widescreen supports 1280x1024 and much higher but 3D Marks 06 defaults to 1280x800 and I can't change it, have to swap leads with one of my older machines which have CRTs on, to bench at 1280x which is a pain...

if anyone knows how to force it on the free version I'd be interested to hear.

What size screen do you have Rroff? I have a GX2 also and a 22" monitor so can go up to 1680x1050. When i use 06 it defaults to 1280x1024 - can't understand why you're having trouble if your screens res is bigger than that?

Whilst on about 3dmark06, to save me starting a new thread....

I can complete benchmarks no problem at the moment, but as soon as it comes to clicking the link to take me to my score on the web it comes up with an error....

turn off the option to hide modes or whatever it is in monitor settings. now i can have 1280x1024.

I've always had that off - and have a custom monitor deffintion that tells the OS the display can do upto 2048x1536 (which works fine tho its not native so has some pixellation)
