Have an XP machine with duel boot Windows 7 I want to remove the duel boot option on start up (have another pc now with 7 installed on it). I looked in the boot ini through msconfig thinking there would be someway to delete an entery that points to Win7, alas as usual I was wrong. Can someone advise on what action needs to be taken to remove this option? (Win 7 is no longer installed on this machine and the partition has been formatted)

Thanks

Hi, Did you have EasyBCD installed on your XP, if so, then you should be able to remove the Win 7 entry from there. Ps What was installed first, Win 7 or XP.
