simple, background folder sync software

Hi, i'm looking for an application that can sync folders (documents, pictures etc) between my pc and external hard drive.

I would prefer it to just sync automatically in the background once every day or something, rather than me opening up an app and clicking sync.

I don't mind paying for the software as long as it does what i need.

Syncback Free Edition or Synctoy are both good.
