simple idiot ram upgrading thread

This is the ram i have
Type DDR2
DRAM Freq 333.4
FSBRAM 3:5
CAS LATENCY 5 clocks

Ras precharge 4 clocks
cycle time 14 clocks
bank cycle time 20 clocks
Command Rate 2T

I know i will have to buy DDR2 ram, but will i be limit but the ran frequency and other such numbers.

If you are buying additional RAM to add to your current ram then the system will run all the RAM at the slowest levels

If you upgrade all your ram in a matched set then you will only be limited on you motherboard capabilities.

How much DDR2 do you have now? also what motherboard and processor do you have?

You may need to buy a fresh 2GB or 4GB kit if you want an easy ride, the prices are real good atm!
