For my first ever build I built the rig in my sig below a few weeks back. I must admit it was a steep learning curve and a bit of a shocker. The inside of my PC looks like a nuclear warhead or something compared to things I've seen in the past!

Anyways, back to topic - I've just remembered that I only attached one fan to my CPU cooler and want to attach the other one now on the other side.

The thing is that the CPU fan power connector on the MB can only have one fan power connector connected to it. Where can I plug the other CPU cooler fan?

Also, I assume that the CPU cooler fan speed is controlled by the MB dependent on what temp the CPU gets to, as it's attached to the dedicated fan power supply on the MB.

How can I control the fanspeed of the other fan if I connect it to another power supply?

Thanks for any help you can provide!

You will want some sort of "Y" splitter, to run two fans from the single header.

Do you know what fans is on the cooler at the moment and its amperage?

Well theres no power stats for that fan (even at the Zaward hompage for the G3 fans its based on) was only concerned about drawing to many amps from a single header, but I believe the Gigabyte one is rated for 3amps I think, which is a lot and enough for even two crazy fans.

Did the cooler not come with a splitter seeing that it takes 2 fans. Like for example on my h80 you plug the headers into the cooler then it provides 1 output for the board.
