Simple Installing Ram question.

Hello,

If i have two sticks of ram and dual mb, should i put the ram in slots 1 and 2, or 1 and 3? (I assume 1/2 = A, 3/4 = B).

For dual channel ram you should put them in 2 matched slots (i.e 1&3 or 2&4) they are not paired next to eachother!

Depends on board. Usually each channel is a different colour. If all 4 are same colour then usually 1+2 3+4. Check your manual.

For all asus motherboard iv coem across the dual channels have been slots 1&3 , 2&4. how every they are usually coloured yes. and the mother board manual would be the best place to look. if you dont have a physical copy of the manual try the manufactuers website and see if they have one you can download.
