I've managed to salvage a DVD burner from a previous build, and have decided to replace my DVD-reader with a DVD-writer in the HAF X case.
However, the DVD burner is about two inches longer than the writer; it is more or less the same width.
When I try to place the drive in the case - from the front in the bays with the 'locking buttons' on the side; it seems to only go in a little bit, and then feels stuck. I don't want to force it in in case it's caught up on something... However, the other drive slides in with little problems.
Both drives are the same width - one is just a bit longer. It isn't long enough to hit any of the components on the inside.
Any suggestions as to how I can get this little blighter into the case without breaking anything? Just in case I'm missing anything painfully obvious. The drive I'm trying to insert is 7.5 inches long, and 14.5 cm wide.
