Simple one - router needed with fttp and UDM Pro?

Hi all,

Quick one - moving ISP to Aquiss and they state no router supplied with their fttp offering.

I've always bridged the isp router to my UDM Pro on my FTTC setups.

When open reach install FTTP, can I connect the openreach modem directly to my UDM Pro or will I need an intermediary router? I've got a very strong mesh network with 7x U6 Pros so WiFi isn't needed and obviously the UDM Pro will supply the LAN.

Thought Aquiss terminated to Ethernet, so you can just use the WAN on your UDM Pro?

You plug the UDM Pro directly into the Openreach ONT, configure the WAN on the UDM Pro, and that's it.
