Will the Phenom II X3 Tri Core 710 work in a AM2+ motherboard?

Yes, as will the 720 which at only £10 more is worth it, unless you already have the 710
the new AM3 CPU's are backwards compatible with AM2+ mobo's, but not vice-versa (an AM2+ CPU wont work in an AM3 board)

The CPU list says Phenom II support, but not which BIOS you'll need. Looking at the downloadable BIOS files though only one mentions CPU support and that's for the new 955, so seeing as there's no update for the 720 it should probably work out of the box.
