Simple question about FSB and Mem speeds

If i get one of the new

Intel Core 2 Quad Q9450 LGA775 'Yorkfield' 2.66GHz 12MB-cache (1333FSB) Processor

processors what speed rated ram do i need? im assuming its 2660/8 = 333 ram speed

Am i right in thinking the G.Skill 4GB DDR2 PK PC2-8500C5 (2x2GB) would be sufficient for an easy overclock to 3.6ghz and above assuming the cpu and board can take it?

The board i have in mind is the Gigabyte GA-X48-DS5 Intel X48 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard

You need PC2-5300 to match the Q9450 at its stock speed.

CAS4 PC2-6400 will probably match it at 3.6ghz (450x8) if you loosen its timings, but the PC2-8000 version of the G.Skill you've linked too would be the wisest option tbh.

I agree, you don't want to be limited by your memory, you can take a gamble and get DDR2-800 and overclock to 900Mhz DDR2 but it is safer to go with faster memory so you will be limited by the mobo or CPU.
