Before you say, yes I have read through the sticky information but this is so simple or obvious that its been neglected. Now if I build a watercooling system how hot will the radiator get, around the temperature of the devices its cooling?

Will it be safe to have a hot radiator & pets in the same room? I don't really want any calamities to happen.

yes, pefectly safe.

I've had my q6600 sitting at 62 degrees and the raditor is warm to the touch but no where nearly hot.

Fan guards are a must tho...... but if your pets or childen have long hair then you may need to put a filter on the fans to stop hair becoming tangled in it

Thanks for that, another quick question is it worth building a circuit just for the Graphics card as I have a 9800 GX2 and its a choice of being hot or very loud. While my Q6600 is at 30C idle and 45C load and from what I've seen a water cooled version wouldn't be much different temperatures, would it?

If you build an all copper setup then plain distilled or deionized water lasts for months if you sterilize the loop first.some of the users over at www.xtremesystems.org/Forums have had just water in their loops for over a year before it started looking like it needed changing.

Your need to make sure you use pet safe watercooling additives as most are highly toxic incase any gets spilt or leaks.

1. I don't intend on getting leaks :p

2. I wont have my case open anyway.

I'd rather not risk using water and frying my components I'll use non conductive fluid instead.

if you're worried about safety, you can use lower rpm fans

My pets aren't stupid enough to go near fast moving object so I should be ok, heat I was sure about.
