Simple question, (sorry) about Merc Alpha Case

Hey guys,

Should be an easy one, but I searched and couldn't find the answer so here goes.

When mounting my motherboard, I noticed online that the standoffs are already 'in the case' as it were as bits of metal pushed up.

This is fine, but the middle hole on the motherboard is filled with a little (copper?) thing from the case.

Does anyone with the case know if I should be putting a standoff on the middle mount, thereby damaging the motherboard as it is right now just screwed onto my case?

Are you talking about the middle pin which is used to hold the motherboard in place so you can screw in the rest of the screws? If so then it is perfectly fine just leaving it as it is, poking through.
