i've got an ASUS M2A VM HDMI motherboard which has an additional hdmi card which was slotted in the pci-e slot.

Before installing xp i removed this and replaced it with a 7300 pcie card.
Once installed xp i checked on the add/remove programs just in case there were any drivers for the internal card - couldn't see anything so put in the driver cd for the newly installed card - but can't install drivers as the card is not being recognised...any ideas on what i should do to get this working?
do i need to change something in the bios perhaps?

all help much appreciated

Internal Card meaning the 7300 Graphics Card?

If so, download the newest drivers from Nvidia and install them.

You may have to change the setting in the BIOS for the motherboard to use PCI-E for your graphics. You shouldnt have to though as your monitor was picking the signal up.

the pcie card is the 7300, the onboard/internal is something else. The problem is that i want to run the pcie card instead of the onboard graphics, but for some reason it's not detecting the pcie card atm
