Okay, this is a plain and simple question about RAM for which I always forget. Say for example you have four modules of RAM of the same make and model. The CAS on each module has to be identical to the first... say for example, 9-9-9-24 all the other modules have to be the same otherwise there can be complications and the modules will not work in conjunction with each other.

I’m I sort of on the right track of slightly off the rails.

Thanks in advance.

Correct, though if you have a set 0f C4 (4-4-4-12) and C5 (5-5-5-15)

you could always loosen the C4 set to match the C5

but not the other way around (might work but not guarenteed as this is a form of overclocking your ram)

:)

T thought as much just wanted to make sure.

Thanks

Corsair XMS3 DHX 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 1600C9DHX Twin3X (TW3X4G1600C9DHX) this is what I have at the moment OMG these prices are insane, only 10 months ago I paid £157.00 for the above and now they are... £80 bucks.

:(
