Simple slot design - Any P'shoppers around ?

Hi.

Looking to make a front panel for my case , but need to some help with the design.

The idea is to use this " style " :

The wording " murderbox " will be replaced with " Dark Water " , but i need to change the styling of the slot cuts so it doesn't look like a straight copy.

This is the size of the panel area below the DVD drive rectangle near the top :

Can anyone lend an idea , or two

A PSD would be a bonus

Do your dimensions include the bit with the drive slot in it? As that front facia looks like one piece? Also, I assume those front slits are for air intake?

Hi Gord.

The dimensions DO NOT include the DVD drive slot area , this is the free space below it.

Its actually 276mm from bottom of drive slot to the base.

And yes , the slots would act as some sort of intake ( or to let light out ) , would probably only be 3mm thick slots.

As you are using dark water on the case, why not look at getting some sort of fluid ripple effect, like someone dropping a stone in a pond?
