Simple video editing software

Struggling to find a really basic video snipping tool which can handle 2 hour pc gaming captures. PS5 was simple to do, seems finding a tool with windows is more difficult.

Want to be able to cut 2 hour captures down to 30 mins

Any suggestions?

Yeah, I thought Win 10 was supposed to have its own editor.

I still use Avidemux for basic editing or joining.

I use the free version of HitFilm. Not sure if it's basic enough for your requirements, but it does everything I need it to.

DaVinci Resolve is excellent and the free version had most of the paid version you need too. I use it to edit down 3-4hour streams and works just fine.
