Simple watercooling

I haven't touched my PCs insides in a while and I thought its time. I have pretty adequate cooling on my CPU but the fans are noisy.

My question: Is it worth investing in and building watercooling for for my processor and how much would it cost me?

Yeah sorry, my case is here I have an i5 2500K (socket 1155), my motherboard is here

As for a budget, I don't have any idea what sort of budget this sort of thing would demand but as a starter i'd say 250 - 300 pounds.

Easily enough for the CPU for £300 or a little more, could even include the GPU (depending on the GPU).

done right water is nigh-on silent!

Well if you have a noisy GPU, then it will deffo be quieter under water but if its current noise is acceptable, no point in splashing an extra £100 for it.

I see many complain about coil whine, noisy fans and such after spending ludicrous amounts on cooling, be it air or water. In the end proper case sound proofing is cheap and though time consuming, it is among the most effective ways to reduce noise.

Couldn't go back to air-cooling my GPUs (although to be fair, they did have ref. coolers on).
I found myself actually avoiding gaming because the noise was too much. The only thing watercooling has done badly for me is make me realise how noisy the PSU fan is!
