How can i up my AMD 550 with the simplest, noob way? What do i change in the bios to do so? Looked at sticky but i an thick!!

Didn't work as i have an Nvidia chipset on my Asus board! Doesn't support Win 7!
Bummer.
Go into bios then,
Set it to manual overclock, or whatever the mobo vendors equivelent is.
And just play with the multiplier. Youll be looking at getting it to around 17x to 19x, from the standard 15.5x.
The next basic step would be to increase the standard CPU voltage up a notch and see if that multiplier will go a little higher.
There are way more things involved than that, but just playing with those settings can achieve a noticable overclock without hours of reading and messing.
If you can get it to 19x, then its 3.8Ghz, over 20% increase.
