Ok, me and my friend are 99 percent sure this is from simpsons.

WE are pretty sure it was grandpa simpson that said that "who stole my medicine?"

We remember the rant was said in a sarcastic rant about old age when someone was questioning if something happened and was saying basically its because he is senile. Does ANYONE remember this line at all? it is driving us mad :(

My friend just watched the episode, this second. He told me the quote he thinks that you are talking about is where he is talking about wolves.

We remember the line "who stole my medicine" :( Its driving us mad, 3 or 4 of us have heard it, but we have no idea where it is! :(

Nope that is as mentioned before "cape fear". When they return from globex corp, he pulls off the wood and goes in the house only to open it too a knock, finding the dallas cowboys.

The line in cape fear is, you have my pills, and im cold and there are wolves after me, not who stole my medicine.

I know exactly what the OP is talking about, its very saracastic. It is grampa simpsons, i just have to try and remember which ep it is. I think it could be the one where he says hes caught the cat burgler, and no one believes he could do it because hes too old. Il go check

We are pretty sure it is an oldish episode where he said it.

What is more annoying NO ONE knows the episode, I have spoken to so many people and each person just says they know the qoute, but no idea the episode :(

Friend just watched the Cat Burglar episode, and it wasn't the one :( We had actually thought that one a few months ago (yes... we have been trying to figure this out for months now!).

It is driving us completely mad :( :(

I know to many people that actually remember him specifically saying it, along with him saying something like (But not these words exactly)

"what! where am I, who are you who stole my medicine" Literally everyone who watches the simpsons knows the quote, they can even remember parts of the scene and stuff, but they just can't remember the episode he said it because there are a lot of things he says that are similar..

I am highly considering watching every episode of simpsons from the start, like an episode a day or something, its simpsons so the worst that can happen is I am entertained :P

True, but I will probably split the episode among friends, like get them to watch season 2, and alternate. We are also pretty sure its said before season 11...

i can remember it vividly, im sure he sitting on the setee in the front room. I vaguely remember it might have had something to maggie, cause i remember him say Waaa Waaa. I will remember.

Yeah, 3 friends and I said the same thing... we remember that it is in the living room, and he is basically waving his arms about or something?

It is really annoying the hell out of us... We had a spat of looking thru random episodes, including the Hell Fish one, and the one mentioned earlier as they are the main Grandpa episodes we could think of but no joy :(

Just watched the "war of the simpsons" 2x20 where he babysits and Marge and Homer go to try to get advice on their maridge.... doesnt seem to be the episode... I skipped any that doesnt have granpa, but he does go on sarcastic rants... but its not the right one :(

Abe Simpson (opening door): Who are you? What do you want? What year is it? Who are you?

thats the one quote you are thinking, nothing listed around that quote with medicine. you'd have to watch that ep to check if its in that one.

the link is wrong, the quote i did was from Million dollar abie, season 17 ep 16.

i did a quick look using search function for medicine.

google might find the quote but its unlikely.

lots of people can think they would specifically remember the same thing. its how memory works, you won't remember every single Grampa line, after a while memory merges together quotes as literally in your brain it will group grampa memory's, as the memorys get older memorys get mixed together and you can't always separate things. its why a lot of things we remember correctly, but from the wrong situation. so you can remember 10 different quotes of his all mixed together and they sound about right. more over, if you ask someone if they've heard the quote, they go to grampa memorys of their own, and because there isn't always a clear difference between the memorys, people can often think they have heard that specifically because they are led there, and all the memories together can make that quote, even though it never happened.

all in all, memory, not hugely reliable in these cases.

saying that the quote may have happened, but it might not have.

My friend and I went thru that thought process earlier... but to many of us have said it is roughly the same circumatances. all in Homers living room and so on.... thats one reason I was vague on purpose to start with, to see if people thought the same place as we was...
