Simracing pedals.

Looking to upgrade my t3pa pedals to something better feeling especially the brake. The fanatec CSL elites with load cell look pretty good for around £200 anything else I should consider? Wheel is t300 with 599 alacantra rim and th8a shifter I cannot hard mount the pedals.

I know, next stage up is the fanatec v3 and v3 inverted at £400 and £500, I really want a set of these https://www.h-engineering.net/shop/sim-pedals-pro/ but there like £700.

Yup. AFAIK, kinda goes : T3PA, T3PA Pro, CSL Elite, ClubSport V3, Heusinkveld, then whatever pro hydraulic pedal set. Not much choice . I guess it's a vanishingly small market.

I have ordered a set of fanatec elite csl with load cell, all the reviews are very positive especially about the brake. Will give a quick review against my t3pa pedals once there turn up.

I can understand the desire to upgrade.

I had a G27 wheel and pedals (with modded springs). But now have a TS PC wheel and Fanatec V3 pedals. The wheel was certainly a nice upgrade, much smoother and stronger FF. The pedals are also much nicer, clearly well made but I had got used to braking based on travel rather than pressure. The V3's don't have much physical travel so take getting used to like anything. Really the pedals need to be hard mounted. In terms of laptime I don't think I'm any faster, maybe a bit more consistant feeling. Hope that helps mate.

Good choice btw be interested to hear how you get on! Give it some time and tweak the load sensor in Fanatec Control panel to get pressure that works for you!
