Sims 3 help

hey, sims 3 support is useless so i was hoping someone here may be able to help.

started yesterday when i dowwnloaded the patch, the game wouldnt load :mad:

so i re-installed the game and avoided the patch, only now when it does load i have more issues, the game randomly quits randomly when it feels like it and when it does work there are still more issues, when it starts all the trees turn into green stars or something as they radiate lime green light and go all wierd, this sorts itself when i turn the smooth edges option off and on so i dont really mind, but i also have yet another problem in that when i turn to any resolution other than that which it loads up on then the screen flickers between the desktop and black and the mouse acts as if its still in the game and i have to restart,

why does it hate me

I think your first problem is that you're playing Sims 3.

You only getting graphics issues in sims 3? Are other games fine?

well in warheard the mouse is not properly lined up with the pointer so when i want to click load i have to have the pointer a couple of centimeters away...

Got the latest video drivers for your GPU? If not, do so.

Try another re-install, and after uninstalling manually search through the computer and remove every trace of it from your machinem, as sometimes the uninstalls aren't always clean, and it can leave settings files etc lying around.
