Sims 3 spec help

I have an old PC that my Daughter uses....It has an AMD Athlon 3.2 xp CPU in it...My Daughter wants to play Sims 3 on that PC....System requirments for the game is a Pentium4 2.0.... Will my AMD 3.2 play the Sims game????

I think people will need more information than "it has a 3.2GHz Athlon".

Well I know the rest of the PC's spec will be OK, I just wandered about the CPU....The game says min requirments is for a P4 2.0GHZ.... I have an AMD Athlon 3.2 GHZ in my Daughters PC..... I just wandered if that was on a par to the Pentium4 @ 2.0GHz?

I think you mean an Athlon XP 3200+ from your first post, correct? If so, that's roughly equal to a 3.2GHz P4 so should be fine.

My daughter plays it on her laptop without any bother and it has onboard graphics, so i doubt your athlon would have much problem.
