Let's hear the bands/singers that instantaneously make you switch the radio over?

I pretty much can't tolerate around 80%(maybe exaggerating slightly) of the radio these days and have to switch it off, why? Bruno Mars. Not just him, the world seems to be in this Bruno Mars'esque trend, every second artists sounds exactly like him. Soppy rubbish, their voices are insufferable! Everywhere you go, every soundtrack you hear, it's another loser that sounds like Bruno Mars.

Beyonce always singing about women dominating the world and Lady Gaga with her masonry cult.

:)

Bono with his hero/preacher ******** and U2 in general! Pretentious, untalented, boring, derivative, unimaginative, crap!

Nearly all of them, I like instrumental.

I do have a particular hatred towards boy/girl band sounding music. Also the way every brain damaged specimen that sings on talent shows tends to sing. Even if they have a technically good voice, they take a classic, original song and make it sound like every other pop song out there. Keep this karaoke**** on holiday camps, there's no saving those ****ers anyway.

Oh and Coldplay and Oasis. Damn them all

The ones who sing someone else's words with someone else's melody over someone else's instrumentation.

Especially those that also have the gall/delusion to see themselves as "artists", when the sum total of their creative input is a sprinkling of occasional vibrato.

Agree with all the above, would add in James Blunt and Damien Rice. Just about any manufactured generic pop, which covers a large percentage of current output. I have always preferred rock/metal music so I have a particular dislike for Nickelback who I consider the X-Factor band in the rock scene.

Ellie Goulding's wailings makes me want to punch priests.

I probably wouldn't like the suicide-inducing vocals from Radiohead either, but thankfully the tunes are so dull I've fallen alseep before he starts singing.
