Ok, so I have been inquiring over at the CPU sub forum about whether my CPU was acting as a bottleneck to my system. Had some really good help. This is the thread http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?p=19310522#post19310522.

As you can see, after fiddling with a few things, I have found that switching off crossfire when maxing out Crysis Warhead yields much better results (playable as opposed to unplayable), why might that be? I have the fully updated steam version. But I get nearly double frames with crossfire on shogun 2...

Also, you can see I have posted that my gpu usage with crossfire crysis:w is 60/90 respectively. What might be causing the GPUs to not be fully utilized? Is this a CPU problem or a psu problem? Or something else? Has anybody got any experience with the 1055t and this crossfire setup? Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

Your CPU will not be bottlenecking, I dont think any decent Quad Core let alone 6 Core CPU really bottlenecks GPUs noticably at this time. As for the CF mode I am not sure, I will have a look around and come back if I find anything :)

Do you have the Application Profiles installed by any chance? Have you also tryed showing the Crossfire Emblem in the top right corner of the screen while playing Crysis to make sure CF is being used?

Its when you right click on the icon in the system tray, go into crossfire and it should give you an option to enable the crossfire emblem when its working.
