Well I've just done this with 2 HIS ICEQ Boost cards.

Been running 1 HIS 7950 and its been ok but struggling with BF3 in eyefinity at 6000x1200. Was running on medium settings around 30-40 fps. Thats with the card only clocked via CCC at 1050 core and 1450 mem. Now have both running at this speed.

I can certainly recommend anyone thinking about this to do it - makes a huge difference!! Heaven benches have pretty much doubled.

I'm running Eyefinity BO2 maxxed out and its well over 100fps.

BF3 Eyefinity is now 55-70fps on High settings.

Still got to play with Far Cry 3 and a few other games but so far very pleased and happy with the results.

One question though, whats the minimum fps to think of running BF3 at? I'm happy with high at over 60fps most of the time, just the odd dip under, but am I right thinking that if I go ultra and keep it over 40fps it shouldn't have much of a detrimental effect on the game etc?

Yeah I must admit, I'd rather lean towards 60+ and lose a little detail, but I might have a little play and I can probably come up with a custom scheme thats 2/3 ultra whilst keeping above 50 fps.

Either that or start playing with voltage and get the cards up to 1100 core or more!

I have a very similar setup, 2 HIS IceQ 7950's in CF, running 1125 on the core, 1350 on the memory on both. Probably the best cooler also for CF setups due to the cooler design, my top card never goes above 76 even overclocked with a custom (quieter) fan profile.

BF3 @ 6048x1080 everything on Ultra (shader on high), 2x MSAA & RadeonPro using SweetFX and SMAA 1x on 11.11 BETA I consistently get high 50's, often towards 70 in multiplayer. CPU is an 8350 @ 4.8.

Chris.

Thanks for that Chris, my top card seems the same, doesn't go above 75 on stock auto fan.

How have you clocked yours to 1125, what utility and settings are you using?
