Guys ,

I have two XFX 7970 GPU in cross fire , I am thinking of getting rid of one , But would i notice a major difference if i did? I mainly use my pc for the following games and watching hi-def content
FIFA Series
MW3
Battlefield ( every now and then )

What res do you game at?

@1080p you wouldn't notice much difference at all.
 
Did you really buy 2 7970's for those games (excluding BF3)?

You'd need to drop settings a little bit with a single 7970 in BF3 to maintain smoothness but other than that 1 7970 will be fine.
 
Switch off CrossFire, and give it a spin, see if fps is fine.

The only title in your list that will see much difference is BF3, the rest probably won't need the power.
 
Disable crossfire, unplug it, box it up, sell it to me Good Sir ;)

Can't see it making that much of a difference from what I've read on the net.
