single card solution equal to 6870's in CF

What would give the equivalent power or slightly more power than my current setup?

I'm either going to sell both cards and get a single card solution or i'm gonna upgrade the coolers and clock them. what would be the most cost effective cooling solution for these cards?

if i keep them then they'll need better cooling as they are standard reference cards.

if it costs me £70 to upgrade the cooling on them then if i sell them and add that £70 to it then i probably end up with approx £250. i'd only need to add £50 to that to get a 7970.

dilemma!
