Single core -> dual core and back...

Hi!
Ive got a 2.7ghz opty but have brought a dual core opty to see what all the fuss is about. Ive got windows running nice atm but what changes will I need to make for the pending arrival of the dual core. Ive got the bios which supports it, but what software (patches / adjsutments / drivers etc) will I need and if I dont think the dual core thing is worth it, are the changes undoable so I can go back to single core?

just get the amd driver and thats about it.

I didnt even have to get the driver. Swapped my 165 with my 146 and picked it up first time. Had to reboot and that was it.

Agreed with williamw11. The AMD driver is just for cool'n'quiet, isn't it?

It also adds the /usepmtimer boot switch.
