Single/Double Sided RAM

Does it matter if you mix single and double sided DDR in the same machine? Will it effect RAM clocks/timings or the dual channel mode?

Well it seems like it does, as in my system I have TwinX2048 in 1A and 2A with a DS 512mb crucial stick in 2A and 2B but it's still only in single channel mode.

shouldnt really affect dual channel mode :confused:

You're probably using a chipset that adjusts for varied memory density. The vast majority do not do this, however.
